Applications are still being accepted for the Citizen’s Law Enforcement Academy conducted by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Roseburg Police.
The course is designed to provide citizens with an inside look at the world of law enforcement during a series of 14 sessions between April and June. Classes are normally held on Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. though some take place on Saturdays and one will be held on Sunday. There is no fee to enroll but due to the high demand and limited space those who sign up are asked to commit to attending most of the classes.
To get an application or more information, contact the Roseburg Police Department.
