A 28-year old man was jailed by the Sutherlin Police on Sunday night.
Information from SPD said just before 7:00 p.m. 28-year old Mitchell Richmond was detained for a felony Oregon State Parole Board warrant. The report said the man was contacted after an officer saw a vehicle parked next to another unoccupied vehicle in a closed city park. Richmond was in the first vehicle. During the arrest, he allegedly produced a small amount of methamphetamine which was in his pocket.
He was cited for unlawful possession of meth and jailed for the warrant. He is being held without bail.
