PEDESTRIAN HIT BY SEDAN THURSDAY NIGHT

A pedestrian was hurt when he was hit by a sedan on Thursday night at the corner of West Harvard and Stanton in Roseburg.
A report from the Roseburg Police said just before 7:00 p.m. a 32-year old man was pushing his bicycle across Harvard towards Stanton when he was struck by a sedan driven by a 49-year old Roseburg woman.
The report said the cyclist was wearing all dark clothing and had no lighting on his bike. The pedestrian was taken to Mercy Medical Center via ambulance for non-life- threatening injuries. The sedan was driven from the scene.
The pedestrian was cited for failure to yield to a vehicle.
