BLUE CHRISTMAS SERVICES THIS WEEKEND

December 20, 2019 11:00 a.m.
Chaplains with the Roseburg VA Health Care System are partnering with local churches to host two Blue Christmas services this weekend.
The services are held for those who struggle with emotional or spiritual pain and loneliness during the winter holiday season, according to the Chaplain’s office. The Christian worship services are open to members of any faith or those with no religious affiliation. The VA release said there will be no attempt to make converts or to criticize anyone’s spiritual beliefs.
Chaplains and counselors will be available to support and encourage those who want to talk after the services.
They will be held Saturday night at 5:30 p.m. at the Eugene Church of Christ on Norkenzie Road, and on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in the upstairs chapel of the Roseburg VA, located in building 16 on the Roseburg campus.
