WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY AFTERNOON

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 1:00 p.m. for Crater Lake, Diamond Lake and all of the South-Central Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou Mountains.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are expected with winds gusting to 35 miles per hour in exposed areas. A few inches of snow are likely for the Siskiyou Summit on Interstate Five.
Travel in these areas could be very difficult. Drivers should plan on slippery road conditions and should carry tire chains. Travelers can go to www.tripcheck.com to check on conditions for their route.
