A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the Siskiyou Mountains and Southern Oregon Cascades including Crater Lake and Diamond Lake between Wednesday evening and early Thursday afternoon.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said wet snow is expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are forecast with winds gusting as high as 35 miles per hour. The Advisory said travel could be very difficult. Drivers in those areas should plan on slippery road conditions and low visibility, and should carry tire chains.
The Advisory is in place from 7:00 p.m. Wednesday through 1:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
