A vehicle swiped a power pole on Highway 138W on Tuesday morning.
Captain Kurt Sorenson of the Sutherlin Police said just after 9:15 a.m. a 34-year old Roseburg woman was driving home after working a graveyard shift. She apparently fell asleep while on the highway, just west of Fort McKay Road. Her car left the roadway and damaged the poll, according to Sorenson.
The driver was not hurt in the accident.
