WOMAN JAILED FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT

A Roseburg woman was jailed for disorderly conduct on Sunday night. A report from Roseburg Police said at 9:00 p.m. the 61-year old was reported to be walking into traffic near the intersection of Garden Valley and Northeast Stephens. Officers reportedly saw the woman walking against traffic in the roadway. She then shoved her shopping cart toward a car that had slowed to avoid hitting her, and barely missed hitting the vehicle with the cart.
She was initially detained on $2,500 bail.
