Wreaths Across America will take place at the Roseburg National Cemetery Annex on Saturday December 14th, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
It’s an annual holiday wreath-laying ceremony to honor and remember the nation’s veterans. Patriot Guard riders are coordinating the event to honor veterans from each branch of the military along with the Merchant Marine, as well as Prisoners of War and those who are still Missing in Action.
Members of veteran service organizations, veterans, their families, and other volunteers will be part of the ceremony.
Wreaths Across America began in 2006 when the Worchester Wreath Company began donating holiday wreaths in tribute to veterans laid at rest at VA national cemeteries and state veterans cemeteries.
