A Roseburg man was jailed for unlawful possession of heroin on Thursday night.
Information from Roseburg Police said at 7:15 p.m. 31-year old Jeffrey Cooper was contacted during a traffic stop near the corner of Stephens and Russell. Along with allegedly being in possession of the drug, the man also had a warrant for his arrest.
He was released from custody on Friday morning.
