December 6, 2019 3:55 a.m.
The Douglas County Christmas Craft Fair is happening through Sunday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
Organizers said the craft fair is the largest event of its kind in southern Oregon. Over 300 crafter booths will display a large selection of hand-made items including art décor, metal sculptures, wood crafts, soaps, lotions, spices, home décor, clothing and more. Santa Claus will spend time at the event all three days.
Admission is $5 for adults, or $4 for those who bring canned food to support local food banks. Kids under age 12 are admitted for free.
The craft fair is open Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
