POLICE SEEKING MAN AFTER STOLEN VEHICLE CRASHED

Roseburg Police are seeking a man after he allegedly stole a car and then crashed it a few minutes later, early Thursday.
Sergeant Jeff Eichenbusch said at 4:00 a.m. a car was reported stolen from a home in the 1400 block of Southeast Lane. A short time later it crashed into another vehicle in the 1100 block of Southeast Pine Street. Eichenbusch said the suspect fled the scene on foot. K9 Grim from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office tracked to the 1000 block of Southeast Pine, but the suspect was never located.
Eichenbusch said there are no other current leads. The stolen vehicle was towed from the scene.
