A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning for central Douglas County and surrounding areas.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said visibility is below one quarter of a mile due to dense fog. That means driving is hazardous in some locations because of the low visibility. Drivers should slow down, use their headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of their vehicle.
The advisory area also includes Josephine County and eastern Curry County.
