A North Bend man was cited for reckless driving and DUII following a wreck on Tuesday afternoon.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 5:25 p.m. a deputy responded to the accident at milepost six on Loon Lake Road. The 53-year old driver was the only person in the vehicle. The man said he had shoulder pain along with a head injury. He was transported to Lower Umpqua Hospital in Reedsport. His blood alcohol level was reported to be .22. That is nearly three times the legal limit for intoxication.
