A Roseburg man was jailed for two felony strangulation counts Saturday afternoon.
Information from Roseburg Police said at 12:30 p.m. a female victim called to report a physical disturbance allegedly involving 40-year old Joshua Wood in the 2800 block of Sanders. The report said the man was reportedly following the victim in his vehicle, trying to get her to get inside. Officers contacted the suspect who was driving on the wrong side of the road and yelling out the window at the victim.
The report said an investigation revealed evidence that Wood had allegedly physically harassed the victim and had restricted her breathing. He was also held for 4^th degree assault and held on $20,000 bail.
