The 2019 Festival of Trees begins on Thursday at Seven Feathers Casino Resort.
The benefit for the Mercy Foundation features a variety of fundraising activities.
*The Silver Bell Luncheon is Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It includes auctions, a buffet lunch, and entertainment from the Brothers Reed. Reservations are required. Tickets are $40 per person.
*A Home for the Holidays – a Foster Children’s Christmas Party runs Thursday night from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. That event is not open to the public but foster families can call the Department of Human Services to make a reservation.
*Senior Day is Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Umpqua Singers under the direction of Jason Heald will perform. Admission is free but donations are accepted.
*The Gala Dinner and Auctions happens Saturday night starting at 5:30 p.m. A buffet dinner, live and “buy it now” auctions will take place. Dancing to the group Radical Revolution will take place later in the evening. Tickets are $125 per person with reservations required.
*Healthy Family’s Christmas Vacation is Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is $2.50 per person or $5 for a family. It is free with the donation of one new pair of socks per person.
