Highways around southwestern Oregon that were closed during the storm have reopened.
Gary Leaming of the Oregon Department of Transportation said Interstate Five southbound at Ashland is now open. Chains are required on all vehicles except 4x4s, unless towing. The high Cascade highways of Oregon 138E, 62 and 230 have opened as well.
Leaming said motorists should still be prepared for winter travel.
