Roseburg National Cemetery will host Wreaths Across America on December 14th.
The annual holiday wreath laying ceremony is held to honor and remember the nation’s veterans. Patriot Guard riders and volunteers are coordinating the event to honor veterans from each branch of the military, the Merchant Marine, and well as prisoners of war and those missing in action.
Wreaths Across America started when the Worchester Wreath Company began donating holiday wreaths in tribute to veterans laid to rest at VA national cemeteries and state veteran’s cemeteries in 2006.
The event will be at the Roseburg National Cemetery Annex on the VA grounds. It will begin at 12:00 p.m.
