A 28-year old man was arrested by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in a stolen vehicle case on Friday.
The DCSO report said a deputy was on Highway 99S at Carnes Road when they ran the plate on the vehicle next to them, and saw that it had been stolen from Roseburg. The deputy followed the sedan until it turned into the driveway of a residence in the 2000 block of Freeman Avenue.
The driver, a 38-year old Sutherlin woman was cited and released on the scene. A passenger, Adrian Acosta was held on charges that included unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle and a parole violation. He was initially detained without bail.
