The Roseburg Dream Center Warming Center will be open Wednesday through Friday night’s this week due to the cold temperatures expected.
Organizer Christopher Hutton said the facility plans to serve a full Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday night for those that are staying for the evening. Hutton told News Radio 1240 KQEN that they are asking that while people prepare for their own Thanksgiving, they make one extra dish and bring it to the facility at 813 Southeast Lane in downtown Roseburg.
Hutton said they can also use donations of clothing, hygiene kits, non-perishable foods and more. Donations can be brought in Monday through Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. or between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on the nights they are open.
Hutton said Thanksgiving dinner dishes need to be dropped off that evening by 6:45 p.m.
Hutton said the facility may be open on Saturday night as well.
