A Roseburg man was cited by police for an incident involving theft from a vehicle on Thursday night.
A report from Roseburg Police said at around 10:00 p.m. the 25-year old man was allegedly seen reaching into a vehicle parked at Sherm’s Thunderbird. The suspect reportedly took a solar charging panel out of a sedan and then fled on foot towards Walmart where he was located and detained.
The report said that the stolen property was recovered. The man was cited for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and for third degree theft.
