On the KQEN Holiday Calendar:
Every Christmas Story Ever Told…And Then Some, opens Thursday night at Umpqua Actors Community Theatre.
A release from UACT said instead of performing Charles Dickens’ beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, three actors decide to take the audience on a “wild ride through abridged versions of every holiday tale they can think of”. That includes Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown and more. The production also includes Christmas traditions from around the world, seasonal icons and “every carol ever sung”.
Gary Gohman, Bob Moreland and Doug Pieschel star in the show. After Thursday, the production runs Fridays and Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. through December 15th.
Tickets are $15 for adults, and $10 for children up to age 12. They can be purchased at www.uact-theatre.com or by calling 673-2125. Tickets are also available at the door.
