A presentation on Human Trafficking will be given Friday night at Umpqua Community College.
Victim Advocate Katie Sloan from Battered Persons Advocacy will be the speaker for the event, titled “Waiting for the Light” which runs from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in rooms 201 and 202 of the Health Science building.
The event is presented by UCC Nursing Students. Donations of new underwear for BPA victims will be accepted.
