A single vehicle crash on Sunday led to only minor injuries.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said just before 11:00 a.m. a 30-year old man was traveling in the 1200 block of Canyonville Riddle Road in the Canyonville area when he reportedly swerved to miss a dog, and went into a ditch. The driver was also transporting a young child in a car seat. The report said medical personnel stated neither person needed to be transported for medical attention. The driver told a deputy that he and his child would go in to be checked out later.
The report said the vehicle involved was most likely totaled.
