A Roseburg man was cited following an incident at Denny’s Restaurant on Friday morning.
Information from the Roseburg Police said at 5:00 a.m. the 36-year old man was allegedly yelling and causing a scene. The man had been asked to leave but refused. He eventually went outside but then came back into the restaurant. The report said the man had also attempted to get inside a customer’s vehicle by pounding out the window.
The man then reportedly went inside the restroom when police arrived and refused to come out. When officers unlocked the stall, the man allegedly sprang to his feet and challenged them in an aggressive manner. He resisted arrest before being taken to the floor. He suffered a laceration to his eye in that process. He was taken to Mercy Medical Center where he was treated, cited and then released.
Charges included second degree counts of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
