Meals on Wheels is one of four Share the Love charitable partners supported by the campaign, which comes from Subaru America.
A release from Douglas County Senior Services said that means the carmaker will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased, to one of the charities. Participating members like Douglas County Senior Services, will receive a share of the donations received by Subaru in their state.
Over the last 11 years, the carmaker and its retailers have donated more than $145 million to its charity partners. The release said this year’s event is on track to bring that total to over $170 million.
The effort continues through January 2nd.
