A 61-year old man died in a motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon in the Yoncalla area.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 4:45 p.m. a resident in the 1400 block of Scotts Valley Road reported that a crash had taken place near his property. The resident said that Harold Harrison had been traveling west on Scotts Valley Road when he left the road for unknown reasons. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and was laying in a field against a metal post. Harrison did not have a pulse, according to the report. Medical personnel confirmed that he was deceased when they arrived.
