WOMAN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL, AFTER VEHICLE ROLLS

A woman was taken to the hospital after the pickup she was driving rolled at the corner of Northeast Rifle Range and Northeast Douglas on Monday afternoon.
A report from the Roseburg Police said at 12:45 p.m. the 25-year old transient was headed south on Rifle Range at a high rate of speed. When the driver abruptly turned left towards Douglas, the vehicle went over on its side. The pickup slid into a small retaining wall and a utility pole, damaging the pole. The driver was transported to Mercy Medical Center with complaints of chest and wrist pain. She was treated and released.
She was cited for reckless driving, driving uninsured, and for failure to use a seat belt.
