Two people were taken to the hospital following a downtown accident on Monday afternoon.
Information from the Roseburg Police said at 1:20 p.m. a dump truck and a sedan were both stopped at the corner of Southeast Oak and Southeast Pine. The 45-year old Roseburg man driving the dump truck said he could not see over the hood of his vehicle, and thought the car had already turned. He let out the clutch and rear ended the car at a very slow speed. The driver and the passenger of the car, age 65 and 62 and both from Canyonville, were transported to Mercy Medical Center due to complaints of neck pain. They were treated and released according to a hospital spokesperson.
