Community meetings being held by the Douglas County Solid Waste Advisory Committee begin Tuesday night.
The committee, in conjunction with the County’s Solid Waste Department, will discuss the future of the Solid Waste and Transfer Site programs. Meetings will begin with a brief presentation and then will provide an open forum for public input and questions.
Meetings are being held:
*Tuesday night in the auditorium of the Oregon State University Extension Service in Roseburg.
*Wednesday night at the Yoncalla Community Center
*Thursday night at the Javelin Ormond Community Center in Canyonville
*Tuesday November 19^th at the Marina Activity Center in Winchester Bay
All meetings begin at 6:00 p.m.
