A Eugene man was apparently not hurt when he fell asleep and the box-truck he was driving left Interstate Five northbound and went up an embankment early Tuesday morning.
The Roseburg Police report said the accident happened at about 2:50 a.m. near the Garden Valley Boulevard northbound off ramp. The truck went up on a flat area of grass and tipped on its side. The report said the 63-year old driver was trapped and kicked out the windshield to get free. He refused medical attention. The truck had to be towed from the scene.
