BOAT REGISTRATION RENEWAL NOTICES MAILED

November 12, 2019 10:15 a.m.
The Oregon State Marine Board has mailed approximately 37,000 boat registration renewal notices to boaters whose motorboat registration expires at the end of the year.
A release from the OMB said each renewal notice is unique to the owner and their boat. Registration renewals will also be sent electronically to 38,000 boat owners with email addresses on file in an effort to encourage online renewal.
The release said after completing the renewal transaction, boat owners can print a temporary permit and go boating right away. There is no transaction fee when using a credit or debit card. The payment and coupon can also be mailed to the Marine Board. Registration decals are mailed within 7 to 10 business days from the date of the receipt but may take an additional 2 to 4 weeks to arrive via U.S. Mail.
