AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH 4:00 P.M. WEDNESDAY

November 12, 2019 3:50 a.m.
An Air Stagnation Advisory remains in effect until 4:00 p.m. Wednesday for central Douglas County and surrounding areas.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said strong inversions and limited mixing are expected to persist through the middle of the week, leading to periods of poor air quality.
Forecasters said people with respiratory illness should follow their physician’s advice for dealing with high levels of air pollution during periods of stagnant air. State air quality agencies highly recommend that no outdoor burning occur and that residential wood burning devices be limited as much as possible.
The Advisory also includes Josephine and Jackson counties, eastern Curry County and the Klamath Basin.
