GREATEST OF THE GRAPE TICKETS ON SALE

In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
The Umpqua Valley Wine Growers Association will celebrate their 50th anniversary of the Greatest of the Grape on March 21st.
A release from the group said the event was the first of its kind, where local fine wine is available for tasting, paired with food prepared by local restaurants and caterers. The release said it is now considered one of the premier wine tasting events in Oregon.
It will be held in Douglas Hall at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. VIP entrance is at 6:00 p.m. with the general admission entrance at 7:00 p.m. VIP tickets are $115 until February 1st when they will increase to $125. General admission is $80 per person before increasing to $90 February 1st.
The theme for the Greatest of the Grape will be “Puttin’ on the Ritz” with sparkle, glitter and festive times along with live music. Awards will be given for best wine, food, and wine and food pairing.
