Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are seeking a woman who fled after an early morning accident on Friday.
Lieutenant Kelly Bean said at about 5:00 a.m. deputies responded to a roll-over accident in the 5000 block of Little River Road near Glide. Bean said a passerby had observed a vehicle on its top in the ditch at that location. The report said the female driver was helped out of the vehicle and then took off walking away from the scene. Deputies checked the surrounding area and the address for the registered owner. They were unable to make contact with the driver, who is believed to be an owner of the vehicle.
The vehicle was towed away as it was a hazard on the road.
