A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. in parts of central Douglas County.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said visibility is one quarter of a mile or less in dense fog which is leading to hazardous driving conditions. The Advisory includes areas along Interstate Five from Drain to Canyonville, and also highways 38, 42 and 138.
Those driving should slow down, use their headlights and leave plenty of distance between their vehicle and other vehicles.
