A man from Green was taken to the hospital after crashing his vehicle on Dole Road in the Myrtle Creek area on Wednesday night.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 11:30 p.m. the wreck happened in the 1900 block of the road. The 19-year old driver was transported to Mercy Medical Center for a head injury. He was treated and released according to a hospital spokesperson. The report said approximately 30 yards of fencing had been damaged.
The driver allegedly admitted to using methamphetamine before the accident and said that he did not have insurance. He was cited for violations other potential charges are pending.
