CARNIVORES AND MORE PRESENTATION COMING TO AUDUBON MEETING

“Carnivores and More: Remote Camera Surveys in the Umpqua Valley” is the title of a presentation that will take place on November 20th as part of a meeting of the Umpqua Valley Audubon Society.
A release from Audubon said the presentation will provide a general overview of species captured on cameras within the Umpqua Basin since 2016.
Rex McGraw, wildlife biologist for the Roseburg District of the Bureau of Land Management will be the presenter. He has worked for the BLM in Roseburg for over 20 years and has worked with a variety of Pacific Northwest fauna, including the northern spotted owl, marbled murrelet, fisher, red-tree vole, mollusks, and amphibians. McGraw is also an accomplished artist and has illustrated a number of publications
The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Ford Room of the Roseburg Public Library.
