A Roseburg man was jailed on a weapons charge and a warrant early Tuesday morning.
A report from the Roseburg Police said at about 2:00 a.m. a 21-year old man was contacted for sleeping in his vehicle in a parking lot near Petco on Garden Valley Boulevard. Officers learned that there was a warrant out for his arrest. During the investigation it was discovered that the man had a firearm concealed in the vehicle and that his concealed carry license had been revoked due to the charges listed on the warrant.
The report said the firearm was seized and the man was detained without bail.
