One person was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck Monday morning on Highway 42 near the Winston interchange with Interstate Five.
A report from Oregon State Police said at 7:30 a.m. two vehicles were headed eastbound on Highway 42 getting ready to merge onto the northbound lanes of the freeway. One vehicle slowed down due to traffic being stopped for an unknown reason. The other driver said she was looking in her rear-view mirror as she ran into the first vehicle.
Both vehicles went to the left and came to rest on the left shoulder of the ramp. A juvenile passenger in one vehicle was transported to Mercy Medical Center.
