The 58th annual Fall Craft Fair is happening this weekend.
The event, presented by Umpqua Wildlife Rescue, takes place at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
Organizers said over 100 booths of handcrafted items will be on display. The event is meant to help residents get a jump start on their holiday shopping. Admission is free but those attending are asked to bring a canned food donation for the food bank program of the United Community Action Network,
The fair runs Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A preview of vendor’s creations in on the Facebook page for the event.
Some of those participating in the Fall Craft Fair were on the Morning Conversation Wednesday on News Radio 1240 KQEN. That interview is a KQEN Podcast at www.541radio.com.
