An Oakland woman died in a single vehicle wreck west of Oakland on Tuesday morning.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 8:20 a.m. a caller to 911 reported finding a crashed vehicle in the 500 block of Troy Road. Before a deputy arrived, Kellogg Fire advised that the occupant was deceased. The report said it appears the woman was driving too fast for conditions. The vehicle struck a set of trees causing substantial driver side damage. There was no observed airbag deployment and the driver was wearing a seat belt.
The deceased has been identified as 57-year old Tracy Keith.
