Roseburg State Representative Gary Leif was given the “Legislator of the Year Award” by the Associated Liquor Stores of Oregon last weekend.
Leif said that as a legislator, “it is my greatest pleasure to represent my constituents and help where I can”. He said during the last session “it was my privilege to work with the OLCC Owner Agents to update their lease and operating guidelines”. Leif said he was humbled and honored by the award and “will continue working to ensure businesses in Oregon can thrive”.
Saleem Noorani, president of the Associated Liquor Stores of Oregon said that Leif was committed to supporting them through the session. He said the industry group appreciates all the work Representative Leif has done to “make sure liquor stores in Oregon can continue to be successful small businesses”.
Each year the organization awards one legislator for their work.
