A $1,500 reward is being offered for credible information which directly leads to the arrest of a wanted man.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said 34-year old Jason Ryan Taylor is known to law enforcement in Douglas and Josephine counties and so far, has avoided apprehension. O’Dell said the man travels between the two counties committing crimes and victimizing property owners. Additionally, he currently has active warrants out for his arrest.
Both counties have partnered with the United States Marshal’s Service to bring Taylor to justice. The reward is being offered in hopes that anyone with information will step forward according to O’Dell.
Those who are harboring or assisting Taylor may also face criminal penalties, including arrest.
Taylor is a white male adult described as being five foot nine inches tall, 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. O’Dell said he is known to alter his appearance to avoid recognition and capture.
Anyone with information about Taylor should contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 440-4471. O’Dell said if Taylor is spotted, residents should not approach him, but should call law enforcement immediately.
