FREEZE WATCH FOR MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING

October 28, 2019 10:50 a.m.
A Freeze Watch is in effect for Monday night into Tuesday morning for parts of Douglas County.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said a cold, dry air mass moving in from the northeast will result in overnight lows at or below freezing for multiple hours. The pattern is expected to continue into Thursday, with overnight low temperatures again lowering to or below freezing.
Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees are possible for central and northern Douglas County including Roseburg, Sutherlin, Elkton, Drain and Camas Valley, according to forecasters.
Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
