A Roseburg woman was hurt when the pickup she was driving rolled multiple times in the 2700 block of Happy Valley Road between Green and Lookingglass on Wednesday morning at about 8:30 a.m.
The report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the pickup driven by 19-year old Trinity Koue was traveling at a high rate of speed towards Green when the driver lost control. The pickup left the shoulder and the driver appeared to over correct the vehicle, causing it to go into a slide. The pickup crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic and then onto that shoulder of the road. The report said the driver appeared to overcorrect again, causing the vehicle to roll several times down the middle of the road. It finally stopped right side up.
Koue was taken to Mercy Medical Center to be treated for multiple injuries. She was listed in serious condition at last check by a hospital spokesperson. The vehicle top had major damage and most windows were broken out.
