A Roseburg man was jailed following an apparent mail theft incident on Wednesday.
Information from Roseburg Police said at about 4:50 p.m. officers responded to the Rose Villa Apartments due to 21-year old Sean Brown trespassing, screaming in the parking lot, and breaking items. The report said Brown then left running southbound on Stephens. He was located and detained a couple of blocks away and was found to have a warrant for his arrest through Roseburg Municipal Court.
Brown was also found to be in possession of mail from numerous different people.
He was charged with mail theft, second degree criminal trespass and for the warrant. He was released later in the day.
