WREATH MAKING WORKSHOP SCHEDULED

Oregon State University Extension Service and the Women Owning Woodlands Network of Douglas County are offering a workshop where participants can learn to make wreaths and swags, just in time for the holidays.
The wreath making workshop will be held Monday December 2nd, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Riversdale Grange in Roseburg.
Those attending will get to meet, learn and create with local women woodland owners at this hands-on event. Information on how to identify, harvest and use native forest materials to make wreaths and swags will be shared. Attenders will design and construct their own wreath to take home. They should bring greenery, cones and berries along with extra decorations and tools such as needle-nose pliers, wire cutters, gloves and scissors.
