In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
The War of the Worlds will open on Halloween night at Umpqua Community College.
Presented by the Theatre Arts Program at the college, Orson Welle’s historic radio play will be presented by a local cast of actors. The program will play on October 31st and on Saturday November 2nd at 7:30 p.m. The Friday November 1st performance will begin at 4:30 p.m.
War of the Worlds will be performed in Centerstage Theatre in the Whipple Fine Arts Center on the UCC main campus. Admission is $10 at the door. UCC students are admitted for free. Call 440-4694 for more information.
