On Tuesday officers from the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team found drugs, a firearm and more at a Roseburg residence and made two arrests.
Lieutenant Rick McArthur of DINT said parole and probation officers contacted 23-year old Kristin Morse in the 3,000 block of Aviation Drive in Roseburg. She was taken into custody for a parole violation.
A short time later, members of DINT and Parole and Probation conducted a search at Morse’s home in the 2300 block of Carolyn Court. They found 29-year old Travis January, who had an active warrant out for his arrest on a drug charge out of Clackamas County.
McArthur said a search of the residence revealed approximately 4 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of heroin, a firearm, drug packaging materials, scales and other drug paraphernalia, plus an undisclosed amount of cash.
January was charged with unlawful possession and delivery of both meth and heroin, being a felon in possession of a firearm, for a parole violation and for the warrant for unlawful possession of heroin.
January and Morse were detained without bail in the Douglas County Jail.
